Keith Haring‘s thick lines, often in black and white or filled with bright, flat color helped to define his style and made him a recognizable artist around the world. What types of lines can you see in these paintings? How would you draw your Creative Clue – PETS – in the style of Keith Haring? Learn about Keith Haring here. https://haringkids.com/

Stephen Wiltshire draws Singapore skyline from memory

Stephen Wiltshire was born in London in 1974. At the age of 3 he was diagnosed with Autism. At age 5, he was sent to school where teachers noticed he had a great interest in drawing and was fascinated by buildings. Please take a look at this video of Stephen drawing the city of Singapore. Learn how drawing helped Stephen communicate. How did Stephen research the city and buildings? What was his first step in the drawing process? What kind of line variations did he use in his pen and ink drawing?

Look around your bedroom for 30 seconds. Then go to another room and try to draw what you saw in your bedroom. How much detail were you able to draw? Learn about Stephen Wiltshire at: stephenwiltshire.co.uk/biography
