FRIDAY: The Speed Museum opens Louisville’s Black Avant-garde: William M. Duffy, a solo retrospective of the venerable Louisville artist. Listen to an interview with Duffy and Dr. fari nzinga on Artists Talk with LVA.

SATURDAY: Grady Goods is holding an opening reception of Simple Drama - new works by Josh Bleecker! 6 - 8 pm.

SUNDAY: Artists of 40059, the second exhibition in the Art in City Hall Prospect series opens today with a reception from 2 - 5 pm. The show runs until August 25th and features 23 artists.

SUNDAY: Sunday Showcase/Speed Community Day features River City Drumbeat, directed by Marlon Johnson and Anne Flatté, today at 12:30 pm at SPeed Cinema.
