WEDNESDAY: JCTC’s Krantz Art Gallery opens an exhibit of Art Orr: Assorted Works 1964-2024, with a reception tody from 2 - 4 pm.
FRIDAY: The St.James Court Art Show opens today and runs through Sunday. LVA will host artist Jamall Durr in its Local Muse booth.
SATURDAY: The Russell neighborhood's inaugural Artists & Afros Fine Arts Showcase kicks off at 4 pm today and Noon Sunday at Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center. The event features paintings, sculptures, and mixed media works highlighting Black culture and creativity.
SATURDAY: Pyro Gallery opens Floating Dreaming dancing: new work from Dessie Spears and Mary Farnum Burnley, with an opening reception today from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.
SUNDAY: Ken McCormick’s Wild Bison Boulevard is a 120-piece public art installation lining the walkways of Louisville’s 56-acre Portland Wharf Park, organized in partnership with The Portland Museum.
