LVA Reading, Writing and Art Camp

Hello Art Teachers, Principals and Leaders,

Louisville Visual Art and the Portland Museum are happy to announce The Reading, Writing and Art Camp, a unique summer opportunity for talented, motivated art and writing students. This free educational summer camp serves West End area youth, ages 7 to 12. To be eligible for participation, campers must be recommended by a Teacher, Art Teacher, Principal or Leader familiar with their character and capabilities. We look forward to enrolling young artists and writers who show exceptional promise and who are performing above grade level in visual art and/or writing.

 

 DETAILS:
• Tuition free • $50 refundable deposit, this deposit will be refunded when the student completes the camp • Location: Portland Museum; 2308 Portland Ave. Louisville, KY 40212 • Dates: June 26th - 30th • Time: 9:00am to 4:00pm  • student will need to bring a bag lunch • snacks and water will be provided • writing, art instruction and materials provided by Louisville Visual Art • camp size limited to 15 students • Covid19 protocol – we are following CDC guidelines 

Please use this link to recommend students for participation. After reviewing recommendations, we will send registration information to the parents/guardians of the students selected. Authorized adults will then register their students to finalize the process.
