Dear Friend of the Visual Arts,

The Louisville Visual Art Association (LVAA) has been opening doors, hearts and minds and providing visibility for artists and art lovers of all ages for 100 years. Children's Free Art Classes, our signature art-education program is the Metro area's only curriculum-based program for visually talented youth, and has been improving the lives of young people for 84 years.

Today, LVAA enriches cultural life in our community through an energetic agenda of education, Open Doors community outreach, artist support and exhibitions. Our dedicated Board of Directors just completed a long-range strategic plan, and we've re-structured the organization to maximize resources during tough economic times, ensuring that all contributions are invested wisely.

Your support is critical to LVAA's future in so many ways. To help:

  • Purchase art supplies and equipment for CFAC classes and Open Doors projects
  • Provide art-instructor honorariums for expanded programming
  • Update our antiquated computer system
  • Develop a Web-based Artists Registry, educational outreach and donor platform

Our city is ripe with creativity and world-class visual artists because contributors like you helped LVAA (and the Visual Arts) to thrive and survive through a century of world wars, the Great Depression and other difficult times, and because each generation believed in the power
of creative expression to enrich community life. Today, knowing that ART is a vital component of success in our local and global society, your support is more important than ever.

If you believe in the power of creativity, and that every young artist or resident of an under-served community deserves the chance to achieve personal excellence, then please make an annual donation, today, to the Louisville Visual Art Association. Please join us in celebrating
LVAA's 100 years with a gift of $100 or more!
Larger gifts come with additional benefits,
listed below.

PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY!

Your contributions help create opportunities for students & artists, as LVAA enters its second century of innovation, education and community involvement in the Visual Arts!

Thank you for supporting the Visual Arts!
