Annette Cable
Children's Fine Art Classes Instructor

Annette is a freelance illustrator in Louisville, KY. She has published 13 children's picture books including How to Be Full with Beauty by John Hay, and Me on the Map by Joan Sweeney. Currently she has 1 new picture books scheduled to be in the book stores in 2010. Some of her clients include Random House, King's Land Press, the Presbyterian Church USA, Norton Healthcare, Inc., Radio Shack, the QVC Network, Underwired Magazine, Louisville Magazine, Riverside, the Farnsely-Moremen Landing and Historic Locust Grove. Annette also teaches Children's Fine Art Classes for the Louisville Visual Art Association, classes for Collegiate Summer Camps and Spot 5.


She lives with her husband Mark, artist and Creative Director for Allegra-East, her daughter Isabelle,

a busy teenager now, 3 cats and 2 guinea pigs and 1 dog. She grew up on a dairy farm in central Ohio with 4 younger brothers. Thus she became an artist. Because you can only play farm or cowboys and Indians so many times! Her advise to young artists and readers is draw and read, draw and read, and draw and read some more.
