Paul Shelley is gearing up for his 20th year as a CFAC instructor. Having taught in both middle and elementary settings, Paul currently teaches at two CFAC sites, one at Kerrick Elementary School and also Johnson Middle School where he will begin his 30th year as an art teacher, his 23rd with Jefferson County Public Schools.
In the past, having a family, teaching full time, plus teaching two CFAC classes provided little time for his own art. Having his children grown up has provided Paul more time for his own artistic passion, ceramics. "After thirty years, it's like starting all over again staring down at that potter's wheel."
Paul is a two time graduate of the University of Louisville with a bachelor's degree in Art and a master's degree in Elementary Education.
